Lip Filler Correction
This lady came to us unhappy with the appearance of previously placed lip filler from another practitioner with visible filler migration above the vermilion border.
Filler migration occurs when dermal filler extends beyond the natural border of the lips. This can create an unwanted shelf or prominence above the lip and affect the natural definition of the lip shape.
Following a thorough consultation, we discussed the option of dissolving the existing filler and allowing the area to settle before starting again, rather than simply adding more filler which I wasn't happy to do.
Once ready, we carefully refilled the lips with a focus on restoring shape, definition and balance, while keeping the result soft and natural.

Anti-Wrinkle Treatment – Forehead & Frown Lines

As this photograph was taken immediately following treatment, a small amount of swelling is expected and the lips will continue to soften and settle as they heal.

Using a Russian lip technique, dermal filler was carefully placed to enhance the Cupid’s bow, central lip height and definition, creating a more lifted and structured shape rather than simply adding forward projection.

With naturally smaller lips, patience is key. It is important not to overfill too much too soon, as this can increase the risk of an unnatural appearance or filler migration. Taking a gradual approach allows us to build volume safely and beautifully while respecting the natural anatomy of the lips.
